Medical authorities advise that each individual should have his chest X-rayed at least once a year when possible. Early Detection Needed Tuberculosis is curable and can be cured completely, medical authorities point out. However, it must be detect ed in its early stages and proper treat ment given promptly. A chest X-ray makes it possible to detect the disease early enough so that something can be done to cure it. Dr. George E. Waters, district health officer, will be in charge of the in dustrial X-ray, assisted by nurses and X-ray technicians. X-rays are taken quickly. No pain is involved and it is not necessary to remove one’s clothes. The industrial X-ray survey is spon sored by the District Health Depart ment, the Rockingham-Caswell Tuber culosis Association, and the State Health Department with the cooperation of the industrial firms in the county.
