Wedgewood Rug Shown On TV
Karastan’s Accent rug “Wedgewood” av.i^v,„ ■c',-=,r,r.,=
(No. 634) was shown on the NBC-TV
“Home” program Monday morning,
August 16. West Coast audiences saw
the show one week later. “Wedgewood”
was selected by Home’s editors as a
home furnishing item that is new, beau
tiful and practical.
Called the women’s magazine on
television, HOME is carried by 43 sta
tions on the NBC television network
and has built up a faithful and en
thusiastic following since its inception
on March 1. Editor-in-chief of the
program is Arlene Francis.
The showing of the Wedgewood rug
marks the third time company products
have been chosen by the editors of
HOME for showing on the television
feature. Fieldcrest domestics were se
lected on one of the early programs in
March and Fieldcrest towels were fea
tured on the program August 3.
Although the NBC stations serving
this area have not carried the show
heretofore, WSJS-TV in Winston-Salem
expects to carry the HOME program
beginning this fall.
