Ihe was announced September 20 and the new 'Corporation took over operation of the properties effective October 1, 1953. j r, • • The owners immediately announced their ii> Mention to operate the mills according to the high standards of quality and with the same high type of employee relations as in the past. The exiting program of employee benefits, including the Pen sion Plan, was retained and the establisr^d distri bution policies, selling program and Fieldcrest brand name were continued under the new owner ship.
