Dear Editor: I read with much interest the article in the August 15 issue of the Mill Whistle concerning the Acrilan blanket being introduced by Fieldcrest. Did you know that Acrilan is a Chemstrand product? The Chemstrand Corporation has its Acrilan plant in Decatur, Ala bama. Attached is a small sample of Acrilan. There has been quite a display in the cafeteria here for the past week with free samples to all! We still miss you folks a lot—it seems that those who have been to Florida vacationing find that Pensa cola is too far West (quite a distance out of the way) to stop by for a visit! Give all my regards—and remember that I really enjoy the news in the Mill Whistle, and certainly appreciate you sending it to me. Sincerely, Louise H. Nowlin The Chemstrand Corporation Pensacola, Florida Ed. Note: Mrs. Nowlin, now with Chemstrand, was formerly a secretary in the Electric Blanket Office and a reporter for the Fieldcrest Mill Whistle.
