Science Students Observe Filter Operations
Students from Mrs. Basil Tucker’s
home room at Leaksville-Spray Junior
High School visited our Central Filter
Plant recently on a field trip culminat
ing a unit of study on community water
supply.
The students had been studying wa
ter systems and the processes in wa
ter purification and were prepared vo
get the most out of their visit to the
filter plant. Upon return to school they
held class discussions and wrote papers
based upon what they had observe:!.

The meeting Sunday was confined to
the sales group and featured a review
of sales activities and discussions of our
over-all sales approach in each major
line.
Monday’s meeting was held in the
offices of the J. Walter Thompson com
pany, the world’s largest advertising
agency, which handles the Fieldcrest
domestics account. Representatives of
the Thompson company reviewed with
the sales group the agency’s resources
available to them for the promotion of
Fieldcrest products in 1957.
