Overnight Service
Given To Burdine’s
The combined efforts of Burdine’s,
large department store in Miami, and
Fieldcrest helped rescue shivering sun
seekers in Florida during the recent em
ergency of arctic weather that hit them.
In record time, Fieldcrest loaded a full
truck of automatic blankets and dis
patched them to Miami, where Burdine’s
meanwhile was planning a store-wide
promotion to let the public know that
sleeping comfort awaited them.
These blankets, so ideal for resort
climates in any event, are being pre
sented in window and interior displays
in all five Burdine stores, in strategic
locations on the first floor and on es
calator landings, as well as in their
blanket departments.
In addition, half-page ads are being
run in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and
Palm Beach papers.
