Put them all together and soon you’ll have just 150 contented boys. That was the case recently when the Draper firemen and business men sponsored their annual outing for the young baseball players at Draper Y.M.C.A. The event climaxed the baseball season for boys seven to 17 years of age who participated in the Bantam, Little League, Pony, Babe Ruth and Junior Varsity Leagues. The group gathered at the Draper “Y” recreation park and first saw the Draper Varsity take the mea sure of Mayfield in a Rockingham County League game. This was followed by a play period for the boys in various divisions. These were conducted by Frank Stein, secretary of Draper Y.M.C.A. and Char les B. “Shag” Myers, physical director. Just before sundown, the firemen and business men served hot dogs and cold drinks in mass quan tities. No limit was put on the number a boy could eat and drink. The adults did all of the servmg, handing out the “dogs” and drinks as fast as the boys could eat them.
