Smithfield, Va., Man
Is Edwards’ Namesake
T. E. (Elwood) Edwards, office
manager at our Smithfield Automatic
Blanket Plant, has found (or has been
found by) a namesake. And, of all
places, in Smithfield, Virginia.
He recently received a letter, intend
ed for him, but addressed to Smithfield,
Virginia. The letter had been forwarded
by a T. E. Edwards, RED, Smithfield,
Virginia, who wrote:
“This letter, I think, was intended
for you of North Carolina instead of
Virginia. So enclosed you will find
same. Many congratulations on having
my name. You are the second one I
know of.”
Work safely; your family needs you.
