Prize At Boston Show
Fjeldcrest was prominent in the recent
‘‘Adventtires in Good Living Show
held at Symphony Hall in Boston, Mass.
Frederic W. Hoit, president of the
Fieldcrest sales division, appeared on
the program and gave a presentation on
our Coordinated Fashions for Bed and
Bath.
In addition, Miss Alice Fee, secretary
in Fieldcrest’s Boston district sales of
fice, won a Rheem Coppermatic Gas
Water Heater as a door prize. She is
shown above as she receives congratu
lations from Frank D. Hackett, assistant
manager, residential sales, Boston Gas
Company.
Alice has since moved to New York
and was delighted that she could stay
with the company in a secretarial ca
pacity in the Fieldcrest sales head
quarters.

Named below are the Towel Mill’s
“top” weavers and loomfixers for the
most recent periods of record.
In order to encourage quality and
efficiency in the weave room, the mill
singles out for recognition each week
those weavers and fixers with the best
records.
The “Weavers of the Week” are those
with the lowest per cent of seconds with
respect to the standards for the various
loom groups.
The top loomfixers are determined
through a combination of low seconds
and high loom efficiency on the sections
for which they are responsible.

Form Bowlingr Teams
Two teams of women employees and
four teams of male employees of the
Karastan Spinning Division have joined
with other Greenville city teams to
form a bowling league at the new mod
ern 24-lane bowling arena recently
opened in Greenville.
Members of the women’s teams are;
Team No. 1, Faye Moore, Jean Clark,
Ruby Greene, Nina Holloman and Nel
lie Harrison; Team No. 2: Evelyn Beas
ley, Gloria Newell, Elise Sutton, Doris
Sutton and Judy Calhoun.
