Care For Quality Is Part Of Every Job f C. W. PAUL At opposite ends of production oper ations at the Karastan Spinning Divis ion, Greenville, the two employees above have a part in assuring that first quality yarns are made for use in our Karastan rugs and carpets. C. W. Paul, warehouse man, is re sponsible for warehousing all raw ma terials and for keeping records of all wool received. He transfers all wool from the warehouse to the Blending De partment or Dyehouse as required He must make sure that the proper type of wool is assigned to blends scheduled for MARGE HUDSON production and that all weights correct to provide uniformity in eac the blends. Marge Hudson, a skein makes the final inspection before yarn is shipped to the Karastan , Mill at Leaksville. She rejects any skeins found, removes any mii^^ ^ fects and replaces them with good y She checks to see if the yarn has proper amount of twist and puts header twist to prevent the yarn tangling in the scouring operatic the Karastan Rug Mill.
