Employees Receive Training In First Aid A number of employees of the Blanket Mill and Sheeting Mills participated in 3 first aid course, sponsored by Field- crest Mills and the Leaksville-Spray- Draper Red Cross chapter the week of September 24. The standard first aid course was ar ranged primarily for first aid attend ants at the Blanket and Sheeting Mills provide them with an opportxmity to review first aid principles and to become familiar with new procedures. Classes met for two hours each eve ning, Monday through Friday, at the Draper Y.M.C.A. Instruction was pro- '^ided by the Tri-City Rescue Squad Under the leadership of Grief Jones, 'Captain of the Rescue Squad. Instructors in addition to Captain Jones were Buford Bateman, of the Blanket Mill Weave Room, chaplain the Rescue Squad, and Swanson a lieutenant. Certificates for those successfully completing the course will be awarded “y the American Red Cross and will be Presented as soon as they are received by the local Red Cross chapter.
