Heads New Plant
J. Melvin Moore, superintendent of
the Karastan Spinning Division at
Greenville, effective December 21 was
assigned the additional responsibility for
the operation of the Winchester Spin
ning Plant at Asheville.
Robinson Gaylord, president of the
Winchester Spinning Corporation and
plant manager, reports to Mr. Moore
and Mr. Moore continues to report to
Henry F. Morris, manager of the Kara
stan Spinning Division.
Mr. Moore will have temporary resi
dence in Asheville during the next sev
eral months. Meanwhile, William G.
Newell, general foreman, will tempor
arily assume most of Mr. Moore’s du
ties at Greenville.
