Samuel E. Burnette of the Karastan Mill and Alfred R. Cox and Nelia J. Talbott, both of the Bedspread Mill, reached their 45th milestones of con tinuous service. Completing 40-year records with the Company were Ruth B. Manley, of the Blanket Finishing Mill; Merle G. Rath- burn of the Fieldcrest Marketing Di vision, New York; and Walter E. Thompson of the Karastan MiU. Mr. Burnette joined the Company as (Continued on Page Seven) CHARLES C. WILSON RONALD B. HUNTER Personnel Managers Appointed Charles C. Wilson, personnel manager of the Karastan Spinning Mill, Green ville, has been promoted to personnel manager of the Automatic Blanket Plant, Smithfield, replacing John J. Beck who has resigned. Ronald B. Hunter, a personnel assist ant in the Industrial Relations Depart ment at the General Offices, Eden, was promoted to personnel manager of the Karastan Spinning Mill. The new appointments were effec tive February 1 and Mr. Wilson and Mr. Hunter both report to J. B. O’Neal, regional personnel manager. Mr. Wilson, a native of Greensboro, received his bachelor of business ad ministration degree from the University of Georgia. He joined Fieldcrest in Oc tober, 1967, and underwent a period of training in the Industrial Relations De partment at Eden prior to his appoint ment as personnel manager at Green ville January 8, 1968. Mr. Hunter, a native of Fort Lauder dale, Fla., joined Fieldcrest January 6, 1969 as a personnel assistant in the In dustrial Relations Department at Eden. He will assume his duties at Greenville following a period of training. He received his B. S. degree in in dustrial management from Florida State in 1968.
