Sorority Holds Jewel Pin Ceremony The Beta Alpha chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority of Eden recently held a jewel pin ceremony to present the Reidsville Chapter members their pins, which entitles them to full mem bership in this international sorority. The sister chapter in Reidsville was formed six months ago by the Eden Chapter. Pictured above, left to right, are Shirley Dreyer, of High Point, record ing secretary of the State Council; Kathryn Hunt, president of the Reids ville Chapter; Mrs. Ann Dowless, of the Data Processing Department, first vice president of Beta Alpha Chapter; Mrs. Lucile Cherry, of the Industrial Rela tions Department, second vice president of the State Council; and Mrs. Janet Mauney, president of the Past Presi dents Auxiliary of the State Council. Following this ceremony, a banquet was held at the Town and Country Restaurant for members and their hus bands from both chapters. He emigrated from Foggia, Italy, two years ago and is employed in the Dyeing Department at Nye-Wait. His ambition in life is to make sing ing his vocation.
