The Fieldcrest Softball League is composed of 11
teams, representing all Eden plants and General Of
fices. The league, organized by the Industrial Rela
tions Department, plays in conjunction with the sum
mer recreation program of Central YMCA.
The Karastan Weave Room team is currently in
the leading position with a record of 15 wins and
only two losses. The General Offices this week
moved up from third place to tie for second place
with Central Warehouse-Finishing, each with a
record of 12 victories and four defeats.
These standings were as of the last game played on
June 26. The season will close about July 17, with
championship play-offs to follow. The date has not
been definitely set for the championship games as
yet.
