Robin A. Littlejohn has been appoint
ed foreman of the newly-established
Drapes Department at the Bedspread
Finishing Mill. He has been with Field-
crest since February, 1967, when he was
employed as an assistant foreman in the
Bedspread Cutting and Sewing Depart
ment.
He is a native of Rutherfordton and
was a sewing room supervisor at Dan
River Mills, Danville, Va., for 16 years.

Norman Clyde Hopkins, assistant
foreman in the Twisting Department of
the Karastan Spinning Mill in Green
ville, has graduated from the East Caro
lina University summer school with a
B. S. degree in business administration.
Mr. Hopkins took a leave of absence
in March of this year to complete his
major in management. He formerly at
tended Patrick Henry College at Mar
tinsville, Va.
Prior to his transfer to the Kara
stan Spinning Mill, Mr. Hopkins was a
supervisor at the Blanket Mill in Eden.

Mr. Taylor, a native of Eden, beS
work as a doffer in the Spinning
partment of the old Nantucket Mill-
was transferred to the Sheeting 1^.'
when sheeting operations were conso ^
dated there in 1937. He has worked
the Spinning Department during all
his years with the Company.
In addition to doffing, he has
ed as a spooler server, yarn server ^ ^
as an apron cleaner. He has beeh
warper tender since February, 1968.
