Long-Service Employees Receive Awards JAMES GALLIMORE One Fieldcrester has achieved 45 years of continuous service with the Company, and three have reached the 40-year mark. James H. Wil liam Moore, president of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc. Mr. Gallimore began work September 1, 1924, as a weaver at the Bedspread Mill. He was promoted in 1944 to loom fixer; in 1958 he was named head loom fixer, the job he now holds. Mr. Galli more is a native of Carroll County, Virginia. Miss Clark, who is a native of Eden, began work September 4, 1929, as a winder in the Karastan Rug Mill Set ting Department. In 1932, she became a folder in the Cut and Sew Depart ment at Bedspread Finishing and also held this job at Blanket Warehouse and the old Bleachery. In 1959, Miss Clark was promoted to folder-inspector at Bedspread Finishing; in 1960 she was named to her present job of folder-in spector, fringed spreads, at the Bed spread Finishing Cut and Sew Depa”^* ment. Mr. Copeland was employed Septei®j ber 1, 1929, as production and clerk in the office at the Fieldale To^ Mill. He was made cost clerk in 1939 in the Cost and Budget Department COS* Fieldale. He later became senior accountant and headed the Towel ^ Cost and Budget Department for a nn*^ ber of years. In July, 1962, Mr. CoP land was made foreman of the Clo it Room at Fieldale, his present job has never been off the payroll ^ ’ years. He is a native of Grayson Coun Virginia. Mr. Scroggins was employed Sept®JJ’^ ber 1, 1929, at the Columbus To'''®, Mill in Columbus, Ga. He began ■ as an overhauler in the Weave ^ and has held that job for his entir® years of service.
