Laurelcrest Fire Brigade Training
The Laurelcrest Shift Fire Brigades of the Laurelcrest Carp**
Plant in Laurel Hill held a special meeting in October for
struction and practice.
The fire protection system for the plant was reviewed and
spected, and groups from each shift were instructed in the o*®
of various type extinguishers. Each group also practiced usi#^
a fire hose from a yard hydrant.

the fire hoses.
Booklet Will Replace Form 1040-A
Thousands of North Carolina taxpayers who have, in the
filed the simple card form 1040-A to report their Federal incom®
tax, will be surprised this year when they receive a multi-p2^®
booklet containing various tax forms and schedules instead ®
the single form 1040-A.
The 1040-A has been discarded by IRS. Now, every taxpay®’'
will receive a tax package containing various forms to enab^®
him to list itemized deductions and claim other tax credits, 6**^'
if he is entitled to them.
