Green, president of the Field- crest Marketing Division, has announc ed an extensive realignment of execu tive responsibilities. The changes, effective July 1, are in tended to restructure the divisional or ganization as part of an overall com pany response to the changing domest ics industry. Fieldcrest’s new executive positions are as follows: D. M. Tracy has been named director of sales and Hugh A. Brown director of merchandising, both newly created positions. Messrs. Tracy and Brown are corporate vice presidents of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc. O. G. Grubbs, division vice president, has been named general sales manager, Fieldcrest Marketing Division. Report ing to him are E. F. McCarthy, division vice president, appointed St. Marys sales manager, and E. J. C. Molitor, division vice president, appointed Fi® crest sales manager. H. M. Bergen, Jr., division vice ident, was appointed merchandise ager, and A. S. Thompson, Jr., an*l R. McGill, both division vice preside’’, have been appointed respectively agers of the Blanket and Sheeting ”, partments. | C. G. Horn has been appointed Central regional manager. J. B. was appointed West Coast regional Ellington Named Director, Technical Services ager, and N. J. Rohrbach was apP' ed Northeast regional manager. Stanley M. Ellington, Jr,, was pro moted from assistant director of techni cal services to director of technical serv ices effective July 1, continuing to re port to L. H. Hance, vice president- research and engineering. E. L. Patton, director of research; E. K. Sherrill, director of domestics prod uct development; T. R. Smith, director of domestics quality control; and R. G. Barnard, project development engineer, continue to report to Mr. Ellington. A native of Henderson, Mr. Ellington first joined Fieldcrest in 1956 as a re search engineer in the Research and Quality Control Department. He was director of the Domestics Quality Con trol Department from 1967 until he be came assistant director of technical services January 1, 1970.
