Committee Makes Allocation To Heart Fund The Fieldale Community Fund has made a contribution of $1,200 to the Martinsville-Henry County Heart Fund as its first allocation of the budget year. Making the presentation were Rich ard Bocock, Weave Room, and Wanda Scott, Production Control, members of the Fieldale Community Fund Com mittee. Accepting the check in a brief cere mony at the mill were John McVay, chairman of the Martinsville-Henry County Heart Association and Mrs. Bonnie Mitchell, secretary. The Fieldale Community Fund will later make allocations to the Martins ville-Henry County United Fund, to the Cancer Crusade, Birth Defects, Fieldale Fire Department, Fieldale Rescue Squad, Crippled Children’s Ward at Roanoke Hospital and other agencies and ser vices benefiting the people of the Field ale area. Under the Fieldale plan only one so licitation is made in the Fieldale Towel Mill each year. The money raised in the campaign is used for the Fieldale Community Fund and other authorized fund drives. The funds are administered by a committee composed of representatives from the various departments of the Towel Mill. Issued Every Other Monday For Employ®®* and Friends of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc. Loretta, who is a psychology major, was named to last semester’s Dean’s List with a 3.5 average out of a possi ble 4.0. Coretta, a sociology major, earned a 3.3 average for honorable men tion on the Dean’s List. The twins, both in their junior year at Lynchburg, serve on the college court system and are members of Gamma Sigma Sigma service sorority. They also serve as junior counselors for fresh man women.
