IHONDAY, JUNE 26, 1 97 2 L' i Bowling Trophy To Be Displayed In an informal ceremony held re cently Nathan Hicks, Blanket Ware house bowling team captain, placed the team’s championship trophy in the Blanket Warehouse trophy case. The team won first place in the Fieldcrest Men's Evening Bowling Lea gue by defeating Blanket Finishing Mill 3,053 pins to 2,937. Present for the ceremony were, in picture above, ifft to right: R. L. Glas gow, general foieman-packaging, ship ping and warehousing; Mr. Hicks, con veyer operator, Blanket Stock Depart ment; H. G. Rosenthal, manager-Blan- ket Warehouse and Customer Service; and William R. Wilkerson, Jr., team member and .second han.t in the Blanket Warehouse Storage and Shipping De partment. Amburn Children Have Joint Birthday Party Class Mascot r ie. m A combined birthday party was given recently for Tiinothy Roy and Sue De nise Amburn by their mother, Nelda Amburn, at their home on Glovenia Street, Eden. The party was in celebration of Tim’s 12th birthday and Sue’s eighth. The honorees received many nice gifts. Refreshments were served to the 24 guests and games were played. Prizes were awarded to a number of the guests. Sue and Tim are the niece and nep hew of Mary Evans, an employee in the Bedspread Inspecting Department. Carol Elizabeth White, three years old, was mascot for the 1972 graduating class at Wentworth High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny A. White. Mr. White is employed in the Mechanical Development Department and Mrs. White (Kaye) is an order clerk in the Bedspread Finishing Office.
