A group of 12 students from More- head High School’s co-op training class toured the Fieldcrest General Offices on February 14. Led by their instructor, Mrs. Emily Scott, the students were divided into four groups and guided by Betty Tate, Juanita Stewart, Frances Paschal and Temple Land. Of particular interest to the students were office procedures, office equip ment and filing systems. Other classes who have visited the General Offices in recent weeks are; office occupation students from Reids- ville Senior High School, March 23; bookkeeping students from Ruffin High School, March 29. Office practice and bookkeeping students fromi Stoneville High School will visit April 12. Outstanding Attendance K. M. VAUGHN J. P. FOSTER Two Organizational Changes Are Announced Cheryl Bartee, 14 years old, has nine years of perfect attendance in Sunday School, six years of perfect attendance at school, and five honor roll certifi cates from Robert E. Lee Junior High School in Danville, Va. She also plays the piano for the Bar- tee Family Gospel Group at the First Church of the Living God in Danville. Cheryl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ryland Bartee. Her father is em ployed in the Carding Department and her mother, Shelby, in the Weaving De partment at the Draper Sheeting Mill. In organization changes effective March 20, K. M. Vaughn was appoint ed plant manager at the Sheet Finish ing Mill replacing K. W. Foddrell who resigned. J. P. Foster was appointed as plant manager of the Bedspread Finishing Mill to replace Mr. Vaughn in that po sition. Mr. Foster reports to F. E. Bar ron, division vice president and gener al manager-bedspread manufacturing. Mr. Vaughn, a native of Reidsville, has been plant manager of the Bed spread Finishing Mill since January, 1972, and previously was general su perintendent. He also was general fore man of the Drape Sewing Department and foreman of the Packaging Depart' ment. He is a graduate of AppalachiaiJ State University and joined Fieldcrest in 1965 as a management trainee. Mr. Foster was plant manager of the Bedspread Finishing Mill from 1961 uH' til he resigned in January, 1972, to aC' cept another position in the industry- He earlier was assistant plant man' ager of the Blanket Greige Mill and was staff assistant to the plant man' ager there.
