In addition to the rugs and carpets made by the revok
new carpet manufacturing method called the “Bondi
Karastan is hringing out six other new broadloom style,
classic wool “Agra” Oriental design rug for Spring, 1974"
The hroadloom introductions include Berhereau, a deia
tured carpet featuring mixtures of “Berber” natural yanL
Domineau, a velvety smooth luxurious wool plush; Mnsjl
brilliantly-colored nylon textured plush, and Versitale, a 1
combination of bright “stained glass” colorations.
Another major technological development appears in ai
called Chevalure. Here strong multi-color pattern effectj
produced in a cut and loop texture as the result of a new 0
process called “Quanta-Color.”

Berhereau
Berhereau is described by Mr. Dale as “an extremely
