Membership in the Club

ipproximately 290 are still
ictive employees of the

In addition to the general
membership and the new
members, the banquet also was
attended by Arthur L. Jackson,
senior vice-president of manu
facturing, Fieldcrest Mills, Inc.;
Haven H. Newton, vice-presi
dent of industrial relations;
Rufus R. Beaver, director of
security; Robert L. Moore,
director of employee relations;
Michael L. Ryan, regional
personnel manager; and Harold
H. Whitcomb, former chairman
of the board of directors. George
M. Cohan, vice-president of
sales for NCF was also present.
The principal speaker of the
evening was Dr. William W.
Williamson, minister of the First
Presbyterian Church of
Salisbury. He congratulated the
members of the Club on their
loyalty and challenged them to
use their years of experience
and wisdom in even greater
growth in the future.
Dinner music was provided by
Billy Burke.
