Employees register at Automatic Blanket Plant Bloodmobile. An employee has blood sample taken prior to donating blood. Smithfield Employees Support Bloodmobile A total of 97 pints of blood were donated by employees of the Automatic Blanket Plant at Smithfield when the American Red Cross Bloodmobile held a visit there on May 26. Only Automatic Blanket Plant employees donated at the in- plant Bloodmobile visit. This makes the third year that the Automatic Blanket Plant has participated in the Johnston County Blood Program. R. She will now compete in the State finals Mav 19-21 in Raleigh. She is the daughter of Mr. and B™ce Lee of Reidsville. employed at the Sheet Finishing Mill, Sewing Department. Her mother Inez IS employed in the Bedspread Mill, Spinning Department. Name Omitted The name of Edward Vernon was inadvertently omitted from the list of Karastan employees who worked all of the first quarter without missing any time from work. The list was Mill Whistle.
