Samples Of Fall '74 Lines Are
Now Arriving At Rug Showroom
Samples of the fall ’74 lines in
rugs and carpets have begun
arriving at the Employee Cash
Sales Rug Showroom at the AMP
Building, according to Harold
Mabe, cash sales supervisor.
Samples of the complete fall line
should be available soon, Mr.
Mabe said.
Employees may visit the dis
play room, make their selections
and be advised by the cash sales
supervisor if the merchandise is
available. First quality goods
may be purchased by employees
at mill list price. Also.available
are off-quality goods and
remnants, which are sold on a
first-come, first-served basis at
less than mill price.
The display room is open from
1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
Sales are on a cash basis and
must be for the employee’s
personal use. “Personal use’’
means use by the employee
himself, his parents, parents-in-
Jaw, or the employee’s children,
including stepchildren.
Purchases may be limited by
the mill because dealers have
first priority on all goods.
In order to purchase rugs or
carpet, active employees must
obtain an authorization form No.
FCO-13 signed by their
immediate supervisor. Retired
employees will need to have the
form signed by the personnel
manager at the location where
they had worked.
The rugs and carpets are to be
picked up at the Karastan
Service Center on Tuesdays and
Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
and from 2 p.m. until 4:45 p.m.
Payment must be made at the
Service Center before the
merchandise may be picked up.
Employees in outlying areas
may choose rugs and carpets
from swatches obtained from
the area personnel manager.
Employees may pick up
merchandise from Service
Center if they so choose.
However, should they desire to
have it shipped, they must pay
commercial rates.
