Here Are The Rankin Children Pictured are the seven chil dren of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rankin, Jr., of Charlotte, N.C. Their mother, Fleeta, is employed as a tailing machine operator at the Mt. Holly Spin ning Mill. The children are Kevin Ber nard, three years old; Candace Diane, eight years old; Sherry Ann, nine years old; Monica Lynette, 12 years old; Valerie Rosetta, 13 years old; Ronald Eugene, 15 years old; and Derrick Antonio, 16 years old. These employees have shown that Fieldcrest employees strongly support their com munity. The following Departments will be awarded Bronze plaques for their outstanding contribu tions as Fair Share Givers: Opening, Carding, Winding, Spooling, Twisting, Warping, Quilling, Slashing, Spinning, Draw Tie Pattern, and Greige Inspection. Also, Dye House, Bleachery, Plant Services, Cotton Warehouse, Packing, Storage- Shipping, Mill Accounting, Design, Purchasing, and Industrial Relations. Also, Order Billing, Customer Services, Fieldcrest Store, Plant Manager’s Office, Div. Vice President, Production, Industrial Engineering, and Sample Room. Honor awards will be presented to the following Departments for their contributions made: Weave, Towel Finishing, Ceco, Packing, Washcloth, Shipping, Production Control, Medical, and Quality Control. In addition to the awards to be made, the following employees’ names were picked from a drawing of Fair Share Con tributors, on November 18. Towel sets were awarded to; Mamie B. Davis, Desibee Stan ford, Carl S. Layfield, Charlie Dixon, Barbara Morriss, John A. Holland, Clara Byrd, and Albert Davis. The Grand Prize, a 19” Zenith TV, was won by Barbara Phil lips. Barbara is a sweeper in the Phenix City Finishing Plant. All prizes were presented by Chris Kametches, div. vice president, W. S.Ayscue, plant manager of the Columbus Towel Mill, and R. W. Harris, plant manager of Towel Finishing in Phenix City. Once again, “Thanks to you, it’s working! ” Sean Bowers X Barbara Phillips won the grand prize, a Zeni sion set.
