NESTER RAY S. REYNOLDS Six Fieldcrest employees recently completed outstanding records of continuous service with the company. Lloyd A. Nester, a weaver at the Fieldale Towel Mill, completed 45 years of service. Five others com pleted 40 years. They are: Ray S. Reynolds, a weaver at the Karastan Rug Mill; J. Leonard Tilley, a weaver at the Fieldale Towel Mill; Cicero D. Underwood, a loom fixer at the Blanket Greige Mill; James R. Weadon, a loom fixer at the Blanket Greige Mill; and Ethel T. Puckett, an order checker and mailer at the Fieldale Towel Mill. Each of the long-service em ployees has received the ap propriate Fieldcrest service pin, a gift certificate for company merchandise equal in dollar amounts to the years of service, and a letter of commendation from President William C. Battle. spare hand in the Weaving Department at the Fieldale Towel Mill. He has worked his entire 45 years in the Weaving Department and has been a weaver since 1935. Mr. Reynolds began employ ment on February 23, 1935, as a shipper in the Warehouse and Shipping Department at the Karastan Rug Mill. He worked as a helper and as a floor worker before becoming a weaver in 1939. Mr. Tilley began employment on February 25, 1935, as a loom cleaner in the Weaving Department at the Fieldale Towel Mill. He has worked his entire 40 years in the Weaving Department and became a weaver in 1938. Mr. Nester began continuous service on March 3, 1930, as a Mr. Underwood began continuous service on February 25, 1935, as an inspector-server in the Inspecting Department at the Blanket Greige Mill. With the exception of brief periods of time in the Tie-In Department, he has worked most of his 40 years in the Weaving Department. He has worked as a weaver spare.
