The musical, written by Rose Marie Cooper of Greensboro, was based on the Edenton Tea Party and climaxed “Awareness Week” at the schools. The costumes, in authentic colonial styles, were designed and sewn by Petyon Clark, lecturer in the Department of Clothing and Textiles in the School of Home Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Cynthia Weavil, the current holder of the Eieldcrest home economics scholarship at UNC-G.
