Fieldale Wins Sears Award

Winner Of $176 Jackpot
Martha Wingfield was
watching Channel 8, WGHP-TV
in High Point, when the “Dialing
for Dollars” program called her
number, selected at random
from the Martinsville, Va.,
telephone directory.
Mrs. Wingfield was able to
answer the quiz questions
correctly and was told that she
had won the jackpot of $176. She
plans to use the money toward
improvements at her home.
Asked to describe her feelings
when told that she had won the
money, she said, “I wasn’t too
excited but my seven-year-old
son, Ben, Jr., was jumping up
and down.”
Towel Mill, Fieldale, Va., and
has worked there for six years.
She and her husband and two
children live at 1209 Hickory
Street in Martinsville.

Psychology 112 to be taught
in the AMP Building. The
classes will be held on Mon
day nights from 7; 00 until
10;00 p.m. and will begin on
June 16. Registration will be
in the AMP Building at 6; 00
p.m. on Monday, June 9.
The course is designed to
help the student recognize
the importance of the physi
cal, intellectual, social, and
emotional dimensions of
personality. Emphasis will
be placed on grooming and
personality improvement.

three credit-hour course is
