1570 Attend Annual Smithfield Family Picnic
More than 1,500 people at
tended the annual family picnic
held for employees of the Auto
matic Blanket Plant and their
families on Saturday, June 7, at
Ilingham Park in Smithfield.
Along with lots of good food,
those attending enjoyed various
games including lucky numbers,
egg toss, basketball toss, greasy
pole, bingo and block head race.
Pony rides and train rides were
also a highlight of the picnic.
