To The Editor
November 6,1975
To The Editor;
Today has been such a lovely
day! I had the pleasure of meet
ing, talking to, having lunch with
old and dear friends. The
Twenty-Five Year Club, with
many members having more
than 25 years’ service with
Fieldcrest Mills, were invited to
a luncheon which was most
delicious! Fellowship wonder
ful!
We old retirees — and quite a
large number attended — had
the pleasure of visiting our mill,
where we spent many years
(happy ones for me) on the job
making rugs at Karastan.
The event is an annual affair^
planned and provided by
Fieldcrest officials.
I want to say it has been a
great pleasure to work for and
with this good concern. I
appreciate their desire to extend
pleasure to their employees,
even after retirement.
Thanks and many, many good
years ahead for Fieldcrest!
