New Missoni Collection Feofures
Fieldcrest. continuing its
successful association with the
Missonis, the famous Italian
design team, will market its
third Missoni collection in
Spring ‘76.
Called "Mixed Emotions,” it
is a more sophisticated
collection which allows the
expression of a range of
decorating moods that differ
from pattern to pattern, color to
color.
The effect can be subtle or
striking and all patterns and
colors interchange beautifully to
permit a personal and
distinctive decorating
statement.
One of the characteristics of
the Missonis’ style is their
unusual use of stripes, poppies
and basket-weave designs to
achieve a contemporary and
stylish combination of patterns.
With fashion leading colors,
more items to mix and match
and more freedom to create
imaginative bed and bath co
ordination, “Mixed Emotions”
is a distinguished successor to
the previous Fieldcrest Missoni
ventures.
Broad publicity programs
have generated nationwide in
terest through a distinctive
press kit which has been
distributed to magazine and
newspaper editors throughout
the country.
Tai and Rosita Missoni also
introduced their “Mixed
Emotions” collection at a
private party that was held
during the November Market
Week on the Fieldcrest Show-
floor in New York for members
of the press.
