New Members of the 25-Year Club at North Carolina Finishing Co. 76 NCF Employees Join 25-Year Club This Year Sixteen new members were welcomed into the North Carolina Finishing Co. Twenty-five Year Club at the annual 25-Year Club Banquet held on April 10 in the Crystal Lounge of the college Com munity Centre. The club, now boasting 394 members, consists of employees of North Carolina Finishing Com pany who have continuous service of 25 years or more. Of the 394 members, approximately 256 are still active employees. Guest speaker for the evening was Doug Mayes, the editorial voice of Jefferson-Pilot Broadcasting System and well known radio and television news-, caster for WBTV news in Charlotte. M. D. Rochelle, president of NCF, assisted by George M. Cohan, vice president of the NCF New York Sales Department, were on hand to present awards and congratulate the new members on their long service. New members honored were: W. F. Anderson, Ann B. Branch, James T. Beck, Gene Buie, Leo S. Correll, Charles L. Fortner, James K. Greene, Buddie H. Hatley, Benjamin D. Lemly, Odis P. Lowman, Paul A. Morris, Earlie M. Shepherd, Tommy W. Shoaf, Carl Z. Swicegood, Thomas C. Talbert, and C. Norman Thomas, Also honored were Geneva Thomas and Garnell Smith who completed 25 years in 1975.
