Baptist (LARA BROWN Mrs. Warren wearing dress made from fabric wliicli had belonged to her late mother. A lovely Bicentennial arrangement, using a red, white and blue theme along with one of the facsimilies of the Declaration of Independence given to Fieldcrest employees last month, was featured at FJrst Baptist Church of Collinsville, Va., on Sunday, July 4. The arrangement was created by Faye Warren of the Fieldale Towel Mill. It featured red, white and blue flowers in tall vases and two American Flags against a red, white and blue background with the facsimile of the Declaration of Independence in the foreground. The church held a special day long Bicentennial program which included an old fashioned outdoor lunch which members brought in baskets. Many of the church members wore historical clothing, including Mrs. Warren who wore a dress made from fabric which had belonged to her mother. The dress was in light orchid and purple, the colors of the Women’s Missionary Union, in which Mrs. Warren’s late mother was very active. In the afternoon, the church choir performed the famous “I Love America” cantata. *^Y, AUGUST 2, 1976
