Fieldcrest’s Phenix City
Plant, Phenix City, Ala., is one
of the most modern and efficient
facilities of its type in the
industry. It has been in full
operation since November, 1974,
and is the company’s newest
manufacturing location.
The 250,000 square foot facility
houses the cutting and sewing,
customer service, and
warehousing and shipping
operations for the Columbus
Towel Mill, Columbus, Ga.
Constructed at a cost of $5 mil
lion, the Phenix City Plant is
located on a 40-acre tract five
miles from the Columbus Towel
Mill on the Chatahoochee River.
In addition to up-to-date
cutting and sewing equipment,
the plant’s Customer Service
