A Christmas party for the
children of employees at the
Scottsboro Rug Mill w'as held in
the fellowship hall of the First
United Methodist Church. En
tertainment was by Coco the
Clown and Friends. Santa Claus
visited and talked with the
children.
Christmas stockings filled
with candy bars were
distributed. The children were
eligible for drawings for door
prizes in which six juvenile
scatter rugs were given away.

the Dye No. 1 Department at the
North Carolina Finishing
Company division.
A graduate of N.C. State
University with a B.S. degree in
textile science, she previously
was employed at Deering-
Milliken’s Magnolia Division in
Spartanburg, S.C., as a
management trainee and as a
shift supervisor in the Dyeing
Department.
She is married and lives with
her husband, Haynes C. Mur
doch, on Ashbrook Road in
Salisbury.
