and Dwayne DeLancey, 11 years old,
are the children of the late Shirley
Funderburk DeLancey and Wayne
DeLancey of Reidsville. Their mother
had worked at the Bedspread
Finishing Mill.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Funderburk of Eden. Mrs.
Funderburk, Mary, is a former
employee of the Draper Sheeting Mill.
Mr. Funderburk is a retired foreman
of the Cotton Carding and Spinning
Departments at the Blanket Greige
Mill.

Jayson Darrell Martin, five months
old in picture, is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Larry W. Martin of Ridgeway,
Va. His mother Leisa, is a quiller
tender at the Fieldale Towel Mill.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
Leslie C. Young of Martinsville, Va.
and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Martin,
Sr., of Route 7, Martinsville. Mr.
Young is a weaver at the Fieldale
Towel Mill.
TINSLEY CHILDREN
Barry Larey and Garry Aubrey
Tinsley, born November 24, 1976, are
twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A.
Tinsley. Mr. Tinsley is a yarn
scheduler in the Yarn Preparation
Department at the Fieldale Towel
Mill.
Lakisha Dawn Blackstock,
celebrated her third birthday at a
party given in her honor. She is the
daughter of Mrs. Laura Blackstock,
Route 3, Eden, and Sgt. Dennis
Blackstock, who is stationed in Japan.
Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Roosevelt Blackstock, are Fieldcrest
employees. Mr. Blackstock works in
the Wool Picking Department at the
Blanket Greige M’’I and Mrs,
Blackstock (Peggy) in the Draper
Sheeting Mill Weave Room.
Christy Marie Light, 19 months old,
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Aubrey Light. Her mother, Rhonda, is
employed at the Karastan Service
Center. Grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Durward Light and Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Sams. Mrs. Sams, Nancy, is
a Wackenhut security guard at the
Blanket Finishing Mill.
George Amos Pritchett, Jr., son of
Mr. and Mrs. George A. Pritchett of
Reidsville, celebrated his 12th
birthday on January 31. His mother,
Hattie, is an inspector at the
Bedspread Finishing Mill, Drape
Department
Andrea Machell Keen, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. General Keen of Eden,
celebrated her sixth birthday on
February 8. Her mother, Georgia, is
employed in the Drape Department at
the Bedspread Finishing Mill.
Joseph Norman Hall, four months
old, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell
Hall. His father is employed in the
Plant Service Department at the
Blanket Finishing Mill. Grandfather,
Joe Ethridge, is a shift foreman in the
Napping Department at the Blanket
Finishing Mill.
LaToya Penn celebrated her second
birthday on January 14. Her mother,
Mrs. Kathy Penn, is employed in the
Data Processing Office at the
Fieldale Towel Mill.
Steven Allen Hale celebrated his
third birthday on January 27. He is
the son of Sally Hale of Eden. An aunt,
Shirley Hale is employed at the
Bedspread Finishing Mill, Drape
Department.
Tonya Denise Blackwell will
celebrate her seventh birthday on
March 23. Her mother, Wanda J.
Blackwell, is employed in the Cut and
Sew Department at the Bedspread
Finishing Mill.
Craig Swicegood, two years old, is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony
Swicegood. His father is employed in
the Plant Services Department at
North Carolina Finishing Company.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Clifton Swicegood. Mr.
Swicegood is employed in the
Finishing Department at NCF.
Maternal grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Parnell.
