A/ Geiberger Visits Eden
Professional golfer A1 Geiberger
visited the Fieldcrest Store,
conducted a golf clinic, and played a
nine-hole exhibition game in Eden on
Saturday, March 26. The visit Avas
sponsored by the Fieldcrest Store.
The defending Greater Greensboro
Open champion and former PGA
champion met with fans and friends
at the Fieldcrest Store and also signed
autographs, from 11 a.m. until 11:30
a.m.
He conducted a golf clinic at
Meadow Greens Country Club from
noon until 1 p.m., giving area golf
enthusiasts tips on various aspects of
the game.
Following the clinic, Geiberger
played a nine-hole exhibition match
with Carlton Sowers, Meadow Greens
golf pro, and Dr. Nick Sacrinty, a
local golfer.
