Joins Fieldcrest
James E. “Jim” Morris has joined
Fieldcrest Mills, Inc. as a mechanical
engineer in the Central Engineering
Department.
Formerly plant manager of Camor
Industries in Reidsville, he is a
graduate of North Carolina State
University with a B. S. degree in
mechanical engineering.
A native of Aiken, S. C., he is
married to the former Patricia Lewis
of High Point. The couple live in
Reidsville with their two children.

Clayton Moss London, eight months
old, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry
L. London. Grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Noah C. McBride and the late
Nannie Massey London and Frank M.
London of Pelham. Mr. and Mrs.
McBride are both employed in the
Yarn Preparation Department at the
Blanket Greige Mill.
Steven Lemons, who was seven
years old on February 7, is shown
with his sister, Wendy, who was five
years old on February 13. They are
the children of Mr. and Mrs. Steve
Lemons of Greensboro.
Maternal grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Junior Lumpkins. Mr. Lumpkins
is employed in the Cloth Room at the
Bedspread Mill. Mrs. Lumpkins
Velva, is employed in the Wood
Spinning Department at the Blanket
Greige Mill.
The children’s great-grandfather,
Lewis Hammock, is a retired
employee of the Draper Sheeting Mill
Weave Room.
i Linda Riffle, age 5, and Lee Riffle,
age 8, are the children of Herbert and
Betty Riffle of Martinsville, Virginia.
Linda was born in Korea and became
a U. S. citizen on February 8. Their
father is a welder in the Plant Service
Department at the Fieldale Towel
Mill.
Wendy Gail Corum, will celebrate
her eighth birthday March 28. Her
mother, Frances Corum, is employed
as a spinner in the Wool Spinning
Department at the Blanket Greige
Mill. Her grandfather, Thomas Mabe,
is employed in the Warehouse at the
Karastan service Center.
