Kametches Tells Fieldale 25-Year Club Members ^You Are This Company’s Greater “You are this company’s most important asset,’’ members of the Fieldaie Towel Mili 25-Year Club were told by C. L. Kametches, division vice presi dent, Bath Fashions Manufacturing. The occasion was the annuai Fieldale 25-Year Club meeting held on Saturday, September 17, at the Fieldale Elementary School. Kametches, the principal speaker at the event, thanked the group for their loyalty and service to the company and told them that they were what had made the Fieldale Towel Mill “the greatest towel mill in the world.’’ Master of ceremonies at the meeting was S. R. Culligan, regional person nel manager, who called the meeting to order, welcomed and recognized guests and presented the new members. i m' C. G. Jolley, newly appointed plant manager of the Fieldale Towel Mill, spoke briefly to the group. C. Floyt Wiggonton, division vice president and general manager, Fieldale Towel Manufacturing, introduced Kametches. Entertainment was provided by “The Blue Ridge Partners,” a country music group. New members inducted into the club at the meeting were Mamie G. Bouldin, Aaron Chaney, Gladys C. Chaney, Claude A. Cobler, Virginia M. Compton, Virgie S. Cundiff, Mack FI. Earles, Thelma D. Edwards, Eugene E. Foley, Frank W. Fulcher, Mildred M. Flaynes and Ruth L. Fludson. Also, Frank W. Flundley, Virginia FI. Jarrett, Eugene B. Joyce, Flazel K. Joyce, William A. Martin, H. Clay Merriman, William D. Moore, Lydia B. Perry, Taft Randall, Flerbert J. Roach, James T. Roach, Lenwood 0. Shelton, Nira 0. Stone, and Lemie L. Wright. Other special guests attending the picnic were D. W. Sprouse, division vice president and general manager, Columbus Towel Manufacturing, who was formerly plant manager of the Fieldale Towel Mill; and W. O. Stone, division vice president. Rug and Carpet Manufacturing, who was formerly division vice president, Bath Fashions Manufacturing. Although rain arrived late in the day, spirits weren’t dampened in the least and a good time was had by all.
