Children And Santa
Santa Claus and the wonder of children at Christmas. That’s a combina
tion hard for anyone, much less a photographer, to resist.
The photographs on this page were taken at the annual Children's Christ
mas party for employees at the Columbus Towel Mill and Phenix City Plant.
In addition to Santa, the children saw a special feature movie and cartoons
and received Christmas stockings filled with candy. The December 17 event
was held at the Georgia Theatre at 9:30 a.m. and again at 12 noon. Approxi
mately 2,300 Fieldcrest employees and their children attended the events.
