P/OCi Camille O’Neal Editor Robin Denny Associate Editor Member, CaroHnas Association of Business Communicators LEOLA GRAHAM 45 Years Of Service Two Fieldcrest employees have been honored by management for achieving an outstanding record of 45 years of continuous service with the company. Leola Graham of Fieldale Towel Mill and Elaine L. Kester of N. C. Finishing Company have been presented the 45-year service emblem, a $45 gift certificate for company merchandise and a letter of commendation from William C. Battle, president of Fieldcrest Mills, Inc. Graham began in 1933 at the old hosiery mill as a looper and later became an inspector and pairer there. In 1955 she transferred to the towel mill as a terry hemmer. Other jobs she has held at that mill include set packer, terry seconds reclaimer and terry folder. Presently, she is a towels seconds reclaimer. Kester began work in 1933 as a clerk in the Put Up Department at NCF. She later transferred to the Chemical Department there and presently is an advanced purchasing clerk at that mill. ELAINE KESTER Changes In Sales Staff For Karastan Moving Up. ■ ■ A series of sales staff changes for Karastan Marketing Division has been announced in New York by Charles G. Horn, vice president of Sales for the company. Gregory G. Walsh has been pro moted to sales representative for the Florida territory, succeeding Everett L. Ball. With Karastan since 1972, Walsh has been sales represen tative for the upstate New York territory. Edwin T. Perry, Jr. joins Karastan in the upstate New York territory after six years as a sales representative for the Omalon division of the Olin Chemical Corp. Barbara Crowder John Jeffries Horn also announced the promotions of Carol D. Kozak to sales representative for the Ohio- Kentucky territory and of Stephen J. Vosburgh to sales representative for the Missouri-Nebraska territory. ...BARBARA L. CROWDER, to supervisory trainee. Burling Department, Karastan Rug Mill from sales service correspondent Karastan Service Center. She has been with Fieldcrest since 1966. ...JOHN D. Also announced was the promotion of Anthony Williams to sales service representative for the Midwest region headquartered in Karastan’s Chicago office. Williams joined the company last year.
