l^r. Grant's home is in Ashe-
yille. North Carolina and he
is originally from Oakland,
California. In California he
went to school at the San
Fransisco Institute of Art.
Following his art studies in
San Fransiscc Mr. Grant won
a scholarship to the Art Stu
dent league of New York.
Mr. Grant prefers water
color and his work has capt^Jred
i low lands and shores. He is a
f ^i^ember of the Pennsylvania Aca-
r demy of Fine Arts and T ie Ame-
t rican Water Color Society.
His illustration i n Edgar
Rice Boroughs'The Tarzan Twins,
made it one of the fifty best
illustrated books in 1957.
Mr. Grant's art class meets
for three hours each Monday
afternoon and there will pro
bably be an exhibit later in
the year of this classes'works.
