The Lord allowed me to be put at a distance
so that I could see His truth.
1 was not setting my mind
on things above
But on me and my world.
Peeking at me from behind the dark chasm,
A portion of God’s beauty shown.
He stunned my senses
And fixed my eyes solely on Him.
Standing in awe my heart was made content.
The moon rose higher from behind the chasm,
and His love radiated as moonlight.
1 felt cold and turned away.
But, in time. He brought me back.
He gave me one more chance.
And when 1 stepped outside aggin.
The moon had risen . . . completely.
I did not focus on myself,
or the dark chasm anymore.
Because He has risen and His love has filled my heart.
He held me close in His arms
and as 1 turned to go
He whispered to me:
Experiencing My love for a single moment is better
than an entire lifetime.
To you, 1 give My love for a lifetime.
