Welcome Back! It’s hard
to believe that first semester
has come and gone so
quickly and second semester
is upon us. It is with great
pride that I introduce you to
the first issue of the "new
and improved" Aletheia..
The Aletheia is YOUR
newspaper and we
encourage you to support
our efforts by getting
involved.
As you browse through
the following pages, you
will discover that the
Aletheia is not the boring
bird cage liner you might
expect, but an interesting
new source of information

Welcome to the new
Aletheia; your school
newspaper. Our only

serve you the reader. If your

and entertainment. We are
going to try to provide you,
the reader, with information
not only from Montreat, but
also from the Black
Mountain/Asheville area on
what's happening outside of
Montreat. Our staffers will
actually leave Montreat in
quest of information on the
outside world (which really
does exist). Restaurant
reviews, movie reviews,
concert updates and
discount information are just
a few of the features that we
will bring to our pages this
semester.
We hope that you will
thoroughly enjoy this
edition of the Aletheia, but

organization is having an
event, meeting, contest, or
if you would just like to let
people know what’s going
on, let me know and I’ll
print it for you in the paper.
If you know of a business
there is a catch. To continue
to provide you with an
entertaining and informative
paper; we need YOUR help.
We need people who will
contribute articles or ideas
for articles, drawings,
cartoons, letters to the
editor, jokes, etcetera.
Without your help this
source of entertainment and
this outlet for your
opinions, ideas and
information cannot survive.
Let’s all pull together to
keep the Aletheia on the
stands. Please respond to

Yearbook
Update..,
By Michelle Thomas
All students who have
in their possession
incriminating pictures of any
seniors, we want them!
Any and all pictures of the
senior class needed for a
special senior section of the
yearbook. Please give
pictures or preferably
negatives to Michelle
Thomas or put in the Agape
box in the front office, as
soon as possible.
The final pages of the
yearbook are currently being
worked on. If you have any
pictures that you would like
to contribute, please contact
Marc Duarte. We hope to
include each student, but
without your help, this will
be impossible. Please help
make your yearbook the
best ever! By the way
there’s a free dinner for two
at Huddle House hidden
behind the Coke machine in
McGregor Lobby for the
first person to get there.
Good luck. - The Editor
