Spring break 1991 will
be a time for relaxation,
rest and enjoyment of free
time. Have you made any
plans? If not, I would rec
ommend the Regional tour
to London, England that has
been advertised by Dr.
King. This trip will be
from March 1-10. The
deadline for registration is
November 9.
Dr. King recommends
the trip because it is an edu
cational opportunity to
learn about a new culture
and broaden your horizons.
The Regional tour will offer
academic credit for the trip.
I went to England with
Dr. King in 1989 and some
of the fondest memories T
hold are those of listening
to the Italians sing, meet
ing new and different
people, and seeing differ
ent cultures and lifestyles.
Some of the highlights of
the trip are visiting Lon
don, seeing Madame Tus-
sand’s Wax Museum,
Westminster Abbey, and
Big Ben. The tour also
visits Oxford, Stratford-
upon-AvOn, Coventry,
Lake District, Gretna
Green, Glasgow, Ed
inburgh, York, and Cam
bridge.

center, classrooms, offices,
and a performing arts audi
torium. The establishment
of an Information Center
will involve the purchase
ofstate-of-the-artcomputer
equipment to be used in
accessing electronic infor
mation sources from
around the nation.
The money needed for
all of these programs is
being sought from several
Tage Jive, The Metfieia
sources; Montreat Alumni,
supporting churches, cor
porations, private founda
tions, and others.
Even with all the
changes, though, some
things still remain the same.
Those people loyal to
McGregor can breathe a
sigh of relief over the fact
that, as of this article, noth
ing has been planned for
McGregor.
The Pegasus, a poetry and literature society, is
now being formed. All those interested
should see Shannon Hodgins for times,
dates, and general information
