On Saturday, February
1, six students from M-AC
participated in the first
annual "Christian College
Challenge" initially hosted
by Lee College in Cleve
land, Tennessee. Ten teams
engaged in a Quiz Bowl
format for nine rounds.
Representing M-AC were:
Heather Housman, Naj
Alicea, Karen Campbell, Jeff
Reardon, Kim Trapnell, and
Matt Haney. We did not
win the tournament, but
neither did we finish last.
We were the smallest school
represented and had only a
week to organize and
prepare. The team's show
ing was an excellent per
formance. Our students
competed quite well. Dr.
Risher, faculty sponsor,
hopes this event will be a bi
annual competition among
colleges in the Christian
College Coalition.
