On the night of Wednesday, January 23,
high speed winds reaching terminal velocity,
the very same that knocked out the power,
ripped a Montreat landmark tree out of the
ground and into the Gaither practice rooms.
Davis resident director Jim Dahlin comments;
“I’m now in the ‘People Who Have Seen and
Heard a Transformer Blow Up Outside Their
