COLD STORAGE — For long-term storage, keep your vegetable oils In the refrlg away from the heat and light, A LESSON IN ADDITION —- Why not make your own special "all-natural" cereal by adding chopped nuts, raisins and such to favorite cereals. You'll save a bundle and «et more goodies, too. THE SHINING - To keep marble tops free of stains and dirt, try this: Wrap a cut lemon in a piece of dampened cloth, dip it in borax and rub over the mar ble. Polish with a soft cloth. y -J-rr JUNIOR SCULPTOR — Store your child's modeling clay in a large-mouthed jar with a piece of damp cloth to keep it soft and pliable. FOOD FOR THOUGHT — Some food throwaways can be converted into lovely houseplants. The top of a fresh pineapple or carrot placed in water grows into something beautiful, as will an avocado seed that's planted in soil and peat moss and kept well watered. PIECE MEAL — What type of canned tomatoes do you buy to add to stews, soups or chili? Tomato chunks or stewed tomatoes are a better buy than fancy whole tomatoes. LEGAL NOTICES 1 DEAR DEBBIE: My wife and I are in our 70s. Our kids are grown and on their own. We live in a four-bedroom house; the same big old place we started married life in. We don't want to sell but it's getting harder to make ends meet. I'm still a pret ty handy old codger so I could easily turn those three extra bedrooms into a nice apartment for some couple. We could sure use the money. My wife says no because they'd have to use our hallway and living room to get to the apart ment. But the rent they'd pay would be enough for vacations, weekend trips and other extras. What would you do? RATTLING AROUND DEAR RATTLING; Obviously, privacy is more important to your wife than the "extras" you refer to. Since both of you would have to live with whatever decision is made. I'd say forget it as long as she continues to feel this way. make love whenever we're together. This is fine with me, but is there something wrong with her? She's fun to be with and we do other things together too. However, sex does seem to be a big part of our relationship. Do you think it would be a mistake to ask her to marry me? NOT WORLDLY DEAR NOT: If your friends are bas ing their opinion on what you tell them, I'd say you are too immature to get married. If their intimate knowledge of your girl friend's sexual needs are based on firsthand ex perience, I'd say she's too immature to get married. * * * WHO WAS THAT LABV? DEAR DEBBIE: How can you tell if a woman is oversexed? And is this necessarily a bad thing? I've been going with a girl for over a year. We have great times together and I think I want to marry her. It just bugs me that all my friends tell me she is oversexed. She wants to This woman's career as an entertainer was 45 years long, just several years short of her life span. She first performed in vaudeville as a child and she starred in her first film at the age of 13. At the zenith of musical movies, she was the first lady of the screen. Her love of the audience was as famous as her char ismatic voice. She died in 1969.
